Meet the puppies
May 17. We've grown up so much and look absolutely gorgeous :)...... We're already 5 weeks old today
Mr. Blue
I’m not the biggest anymore, but I’m still one of the bigger puppies. I have cute little whiskers, and I’m sure I’ll get even fuzzier. I’m smart, I use my nose a lot, and I’m always on the go, but I also like my peace and quiet.
Mr. Green
Little Rascal. That’s what my owner often calls me. She says I’m fast, loud, and agile, too. And even though I love to cuddle, I’m also the most curious one around and love to explore new things. I have a beautifully furry face and I’m a real cutie 🙂
Mr. Baby Blue
I’m a big guy, I love to eat, and I’m calm and even-tempered. Sometimes I get mad at my cheeky sister and put her in her place. And my tail is a bit short—it got broken, unfortunately.
Miss Orange
I’m a good girl, I love to play, but I don’t like to fight with others. If someone upsets me, I can get angry, but otherwise I’m the sweetest girl in the whole litter. I’m well-built and eager to learn.
Miss Barbie Pink
I love exploring my surroundings, running, and I’m very curious. When we go for a walk, they have to keep a close eye on me—I want to sniff everything and I’m not afraid to run off farther than the others. My owner thinks I’ll be a very skilled hunter and a good candidate for breeding. I have more fur than my sisters and I’m nicely built.
Miss Rose
Mazel, that’s me. But my owner says I’m calm 🤣! Not a chance—I’m a little devil in disguise 😈. I’m curious and quick; wherever I go, everyone follows, and I explore every nook and cranny of the yard. Yes, I like to sleep alone, but woe betide anyone who tries to wake me up. I can be quite feisty and loud. A more dominant female.
Miss Yellow
I’m the girl version of my green brother. I’m a little rascal—fast, agile, cheerful, energetic, and even loud. You’ll definitely never be bored with me, and I’m happiest when I’m on the move and surprising you with my cleverness.
Miss Violet
A feisty little firecracker. I love to eat—I’m the second biggest with a belly that’s always full—I love to wrestle with my siblings, I love to provoke others, and I want to be first at everything. I bark and growl a lot. I love to bite and tear things apart. And yes, I still give cute little scowls 
.
Week 5
When the weather is nice, we’re outside enjoying the backyard. We’re learning to use our potty pads, we’re getting in trouble with our mom because we’ve destroyed a lot of her flowers and planters, and we’re playing and having fun. And apparently, our time here is running out. Soon we’ll be heading to our new homes. Our new owners are looking forward to meeting us—well, except for the two boys 😔. Do you want me? Hurry up and write to our mom before it’s too late.
Meet the puppies
A total of 5 female puppies and 3 male puppies were born—
—and as of today, the ninth day (April 19), they’ve all already doubled their birth weight 🙂
Mr. Blue
The firstborn. Together with his little brother Baby Blue, he’s the biggest of the bunch. Like his mom, he has a barely visible white stripe on the top of his head, but it will fade over time. He’s the biggest laid-back, easygoing guy. Such a cute little grump 🙂
Mr. Green
When he was born, he weighed the least of them all. Today, he’s already overtaken many of his sisters and is catching up to his brothers. He’s very lively, loud, and was the first to start “running” on all fours like a lizard 🙂
Mr. Baby Blue
He was born seventh in the litter, and it came as a surprise to us that we’d end up with more than six little ones. Today, he’s the biggest of them all—calm and even-tempered.
Miss Orange
Miss Orange was a little underweight at birth, and right after she was born, she had adorable little ears that reminded us of Fiona from Shrek. She’s growing into a confident young lady and doesn’t resemble Fiona at all anymore 🙂
Miss Barbie Pink
Our little princess. When she’s hungry or something doesn’t suit her, she lets us know. If you could call a puppy assertive, she’d be the one 🙂 Otherwise, she loves being with her siblings.
Miss Rose
Probably the biggest cuddler, even though we often find her alone in the corner of her crate, where she’s happily napping. She was the second-largest female at birth, but she knows how to fight for her spot among the others :). She’s calm.
Miss Yellow
Little Miss Yellow has had a visible white stripe on the top of her head since birth—a trait she inherited from her mother—which should also disappear soon. She was the fifth to be born and is quite adept at fighting her way to her mother’s best teat.
Miss Violet
Surprise #8 💖. Violetka is a real chubby little thing and is growing into a beauty. She’s usually hanging out with her brother Blue, loves to eat, and sometimes even manages to give a cute little pout. She’s feisty.
Health
All the puppies are healthy, with no cleft palates, and their toes and claws are developing normally. They’re still blind, and we’re seeing their first attempts at walking—though so far it’s mostly just hopping around—except for the green lizard 🙂
Worrying About Bejlinka
On April 17, 2024, an hour past midnight, we had to wake up our vet. Bejlinka was hunched over terribly; she was clearly in pain, her whole body was shaking, and her temperature was 39.9 degrees Celsius. The vet diagnosed a mammary gland abscess and prescribed antibiotics immediately, along with oxytocin to support milk production. Back home, it was time to cool, cool, and cool.
Although the vet says she’s not out of the woods yet, she’s already feeling better, has started eating heartily, and we’re continuing her treatment with antibiotics and cottage cheese compresses. And of course, we’re watching her like a hawk. It’s hard to keep an eye on the cottage cheese compresses, though—Bejlinka loves to munch on them 🙂

We are happy to announce that between 12:10 a.m. and 3:45 a.m., our baby was finally born 8 beautiful and healthy puppies And Bejlinka's mom handled everything beautifully. I'm proud of her.
5 female puppies (in order of birth): orange, Barbie pink, fuchsia rose, yellow, and violet.
3 puppies (in order of birth): blue, green, baby blue.
They all had healthy birth weights ranging from 290 to 380 grams. The green boy is the loudest; the blue boy, baby blue, and Miss Violet were the biggest kittens with the highest birth weights; little blue is an adorable grump; and Miss Orange looked just like Fiona from Shrek right after she was born, with her cute little ears. .

Day 61 of pregnancy
It’s almost here. It’s our first litter, so we’re all nervous—maybe I’m even more nervous than Bejlinka.
Everything is ready, the wonderful vet is on call. Bejlinka’s fever went down yesterday, but today she’s nervous, she’s scratching a lot, panting, and breathing heavily… So we’ll see when we welcome the little ones into the world.
The Devil and Bailey
The planned mating took place the weekend before Valentine's Day 2024, and we have confirmed that she is pregnant.
During the ultrasound, the doctor saw four little ones, but he said there might be one or two more hiding. So we’ll just have to wait and see if it stays at four or if we’re in for a surprise in mid-April.
Bejlinka is doing well; we’re starting to see the first signs of pregnancy. She’s resting more and is being quite grumpy with the dogs.
